09:00 AM - Depart from Moshi

Morning collection from your Moshi hotel for a scenic 1-hour drive through coffee plantations to Materuni Village (1,500m).

10:00 AM - Arrive at Materuni Village

Meet your local Chagga guide who will introduce you to village life and traditions at the base of Kilimanjaro.

10:30 AM - Coffee Making Experience

Participate in the entire traditional coffee process - from picking beans to roasting, grinding, and brewing. Enjoy your fresh cup with local snacks.

12:00 PM - Hike to Waterfalls

1.5km hike through banana and coffee plantations to the stunning 80m Materuni Waterfall (approximately 45 minutes each way).

01:00 PM - Lunch by the Waterfalls

Enjoy a packed lunch near the refreshing mist of the waterfalls. Take time to swim in the natural pool (weather permitting).

02:00 PM - Return to Village
